Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting Awards

Nitanee Paris is the recipient of two Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting Awards from the Great American Song Contest for "Batshit Crazy" and "Sweet Sugar Sunday” (R&B and Country categories).

"Batshit Crazy" was recorded by the fabulous Brazilian artist Eduarda Xen and produced by powerhouse Mark Dorflinger of A.r. Electrik. It features the awesome talent of Vail Johnson (Kenny G; Keb Mo) on bass and will be included on Eduarda Xen’s upcoming EP - and we are currently working on the music video to be released next month!! Judges praised “Batshit Crazy” for its “strong central chorus” and “daringly amusing lyrical story.”

"Sweet Sugar Sunday" was co-written with NASA scientist/musician extraordinaire, Dr. Jean-Pierre Williams of Hollywood and Mars and recorded in Nashville with Larry Beaird at Beaird Music Group, Inc. We are so excited about this happy news!! Judges praised “Sweet Sugar Sunday” for its “sweetly uplifting lyric” and “smartly devised melodic composition.”
