Nitanee WINS 1st Place in the Great American Song Contest country category & three “Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting" awards!

We are pleased to announce that Nitanee Paris is the 1st Place Winner in the Great American Song Contest country category for “Coal Dust” and she is named in their  2016 Hall of Fame! This song is a story told to Nitanee by her father about the life of her grandfather. The music was written by Dr. Jean-Pierre Williams and the song was recorded with Larry Beaird and the world-class musicians at Beaird Music Group, Inc. in Nashville. "Coal Dust" is also a finalist in the The John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the UK Songwriting Contest and was a semifinalist in the Dallas Songwriters Association Song Contest. 

Nitanee is also honored to receive two “Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting" awards: one for “Big Big Life”, written with and performed by the amazing Streetlight Cadence (Jesse Shiroma, Chaz Umamoto, Jonathon Franklin, Brian Webb) and recorded with Mark Dorflinger— and for “Great Big Earth”, written and recorded with Trei Battle featuring the vocals of the fabulous Annie Dingwall.
