“This was the song that I was humming after I quit listening and started watching football. I found myself singing the hook over and over again. I think it has the best combination of melody and hook in the competition. A nice modest melody that just about anyone can sing after hearing the hook once, it’s memorable. Many times melodic hooks just pop into our songwriting heads and we really don’t know where they came from. I wouldn’t be surprised if this wasn’t the case here with the writer. The hook and melody feel real and authentic.”
